How to verify via Australian Driver’s License?

  1. Log into your RivalBet account.
  2. Select “Profile” located on the bottom right of your screen.

  3. Select “Verify Account”
    ID verification button
  4. Select “Australian Driver’s License” from the drop-down menu (highlighted below) and fill out the required details from your Australian Driver’s License.

    Please be sure to fill in your details as they appear on your Australian Driver’s License including the following:
    • State of Issue
    • Driver’s License Number
    • First Name
    • Middle Name (If any)
    • Last Name
    • Date of Birth
  5. Lastly, you will need to confirm your details by clicking the “Submit” button.
  6. If successful, you will be presented with the below image and will now be able to bet against your rivals!
    Verification Success

In the event you are not successful, please review your details and make sure they are correct. If you are still unsuccessful, please attach a copy/photo of the ID you are trying to verify your RivalBet account with and it to support@rivalbet.com.au. This process may take up to a business day to be reviewed by our customer support team.

How to verify via Australian Passport?

  1. Log into your RivalBet account.

  4. Select “Australian Passport” from the drop-down menu (highlighted below) and fill out the required details from your Australian Passport.

    • First Name
    • Middle Name (If any)
    • Last Name
    • Passport Number
  5. Lastly, you will need to confirm your details by clicking the “Submit” button.
  6. If successful, you will be presented with the below image and will now be able to bet against your rivals!

How to verify via Medicare Card?

  4. Select “Medicare Card” from the drop-down menu (highlighted below) and fill out the required details from your Medicare Card.

    • Type of Medicare Card
    • Card Number
    • IRN (Individual Reference Number)

  5. Lastly, you will need to confirm your details by clicking the “Submit” button.
  6. If successful, you will be presented with the below image and will now be able to bet against your rivals!

How do I verify my account if I do not have an Australian Passport, Driver's License, or Medicare Card?

If you do not hold an Australian Driver’s License, Medicare Card, or an Australian Passport, we require more information. RivalBet will need to verify your International Passport followed by a utility bill. The utility bill can be either a renting agreement, power, water, or gas bill. Utility bills must include your full name and address. Once you have a suitable utility bill, please take some photos and send them to our verification email: support@rivalbet.com.au

Why do I need to verify my Identity?

To give you full access to your RivalBet account, we need to confirm you are who you say you are by verifying your identity. This process is to comply with Australian legislation, which RivalBet has made as seamless as possible, and only needs to be done once.

Identity verification

You will need to be Verified before you can withdraw funds. RivalBet is legally required to conduct identity verification checks within 14 days of opening your account. If we determine that the identity check performed was unsatisfactory, we must freeze the account until we can accurately verify the account.

All identity checks must meet the requirements governed by the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act). RivalBet may require further proof of identification for us to complete identity checks.

Members who do not provide full details when requested may have their Accounts suspended, without notice, pending an investigation.
