Declined deposits

Please contact your financial institution to discuss the terms and conditions of your card as there may be restrictions from your bank.

Card lost/stolen

If you have recently reported your credit card missing or stolen, your bank may have placed a temporary block on the card or are limiting deposits. For further details, please contact your bank to discuss this further.

Insufficient funds

Please ensure that you have enough funds available before attempting to deposit into your RivalBet account. In some circumstances, your bank may refuse/decline any large deposits.

Incorrect CVV

Please ensure that you put the correct CCV (3 numbers on the back of your credit card) when attempting to confirm a deposit. If the numbers are incorrect, your bank will not authorise the deposit.

Missing deposits

To track down your missing deposit, we need a copy of the bank transfer you made to us. Please take a screenshot of the bank transfer and make sure the screenshot you upload has the following information included:

  1. Date of deposit
  2. Reference Used on Deposit
  3. What Account was used (where it was sent to)
  4. Amount
  5. What bank it was sent from.

How to deposit using PayID

  1. Login to your account
  2. Proceed to the “My Account” icon as highlighted below

  3. Once this area has been located, please proceed by clicking “Deposit” which can be found in the centre left of the screen. Select “PayID”

  4. RivalBet's Bank Details
    Our details are provided in the app, shown in the screenshot above. All you must do is locate the “PayID” section of your banking app. Once found, ensure you enter all details correctly, as inaccurate information may lead to loss of funds.

    Reference will refer to your individual account number followed by your surname. These details (account number) will be in the “Deposit Money” Section of the account, prefilled with your personal account details.

    Example: Reference # 1234 Smith.

    Once you have confirmed the transaction, this process can take 2-3 Business days to clear from your bank to ours. However, in most cases, we will receive your funds instantly. Once received, the funds will be cleared and allocated to your account.

How to deposit via PayPal?

  1. Login to your account
  2. Proceed to “My Account”. (See below image)

  5. Select a deposit amount. (see image below)

    *Please note that you will not be able to continue without selecting an amount.
  6. Once this has been completed you will see “Deposit Now” highlighted (as per image below)

  7. Entering personal PayPal information

Lastly, you will need to provide your PayPal details to complete your deposit. Correctly input your details, then please proceed to the bottom of the page where you will see “Continue”. Once this is completed, you can start betting against your rivals!

How to deposit via a Credit/Debit Card?

  1. Login to your account
  2. Proceed to “My Account”. (See below image)

  5. Select a deposit amount. (see image below)

  6. Once this has been completed you will see “Deposit Now” highlighted (as per image below)

  7. Entering personal Credit/Debit card information

Lastly, you will need to provide your payment details (Credit/Debit Card) to complete your deposit. Correctly input your details, then please proceed to the bottom of the page where you will see “Continue”. Once this is completed, you can start betting against your rivals!

How to deposit using BPAY?

  1. Login to your account
  2. Proceed to “My Account”. (See below image)

  3. Once this area has been located, please proceed by clicking “Deposit” which can be found in the centre left of the screen. Select BPAY (See image below)

  4. Biller codes are required to process BPAY transactions and are used to identify where the money is being sent

  5. Your CRN (Customer Reference Number) is unique to you and is used to direct money to your RivalBet account. Be sure to confirm your in-app CRN before processing with your financial institution.

    Be sure to confirm your CRN via your RivalBet app.

    Be sure to add the number as seen in your RivalBet account only as the below is only an example:

    Customer Reference: 000012345 (as displayed in the BPAY example image)

    RivalBet Biller Code is the same as in the image displayed.

  6. You will need to process the deposit via your financial institution (Mobile or Internet banking). You will need to find the payments section of your account and locate BPAY, and this will need to be followed by your RivalBet BPAY credentials.

    Lastly, your bank will now process the transaction and within 2 business days, your deposit will have reached your RivalBet account.

How to deposit using POLi?

  1. Login to your account
  2. Proceed to “My Account”. (See below image)

  3. Once this area has been located, please proceed by clicking “Deposit” which can be found in the centre left of the screen. Then select POLI as indicated below.

  4. Enter the amount you would like to deposit.

    Once you have entered an amount, select “DEPOSIT NOW” to continue

    Select “Continue” which will then direct you to POLi to complete the transaction. (As shown in the below image)

  5. You will be directed to POLi payments to finalise your transaction (As shown in the below image)

  6. You will need to select your bank followed by continue. You will then be asked to login to your bank account to submit the deposit. Please be sure that you have double checked the amount you wish to deposit before continuing.

    Lastly, once the transaction has been successful, you will have completed this deposit, and your RivalBet account will reflect this.

    * POLi transactions may take up to 15 minutes to be successful due to bank processing times.
